How Do I Make A Free Webcast

Livestreaming, the act of broadcasting yourself over the internet, has exploded in popularity since services like Periscope and Meerkat emerged. It’s an exciting way to connect with your audience directly—the possibilities are endless!

But what if you don’t have a huge following yet? Or maybe you’re just getting started out on a new social network?

If you’re wondering how to create a live stream, this article is for you. We’ll show you the tools and techniques to get started today!

The first step to livestreaming is finding an audience while creating a new account. This might seem counter intuitive but the idea here is that if there’s no one there to watch you, then what’s the point in livestreaming?

This could be on a new social network, your personal blog or even just an email list. This initial audience will give you feedback and encouragement when it’s most needed, plus earn you some street cred when you finally do launch that big livestream!

Once you’ve got an audience the next step is to create your livestream. If you’re filming yourself directly then we’d recommend using a tripod and perhaps even a microphone for better sound quality. As well as this, because it’s live there could be technical issues like bad connections or maybe you trip over that wire! You don’t want to spend half an hour trying to fix something that you could have sorted out beforehand!

If you’re using a camera then be sure to set it up and test out your lighting and audio before going live. Like we said earlier, livestreaming is exciting but it’s also unpredictable—so try and eliminate as many risks as possible.

Remember to add some interesting elements such as images, quiz questions and polls. This will make your livestream more interactive, encouraging engagement from your audience.

Once you’ve got the video set up, decide on a time to go live and plan out what you’re going to say. Short and punchy is usually best, don’t waffle at the start as people might tune out! If it’s not interesting at first it’s unlikely to get more exciting as you go along.

Once you’re ready, hit the ‘Start Livestream’ button and let the fun begin!

When it comes to finishing your livestream, don’t forget to edit and upload any footage that could be useful for future videos. It’s also a good opportunity to engage with any comments or questions from your livestream by responding to them via a video.

As you can see, it’s not too difficult to create a live stream! Once you’ve got the hang of it, you’ll be able to do it as often as you like and grow that audience every step of the way.

So that’s how you create a live stream! If you’ve got any questions or stories about livestreaming, let us know in the comments below.
